Also Known as the Pink City, Jaipur is one of the major attractions of the Indian state of Rajasthan. City Palace

This is also one of the most prominent landmarks of the pink city, ‘Hawa Mahal’ is situated very near to the ‘City Palace’. Hawa Mahal or the ‘Palace Of The Winds’ situated in the heart of the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur in Rajasthan, literally, in short we can say that India, is one of the most famous tourist attractions and a prominent landmark of the city that is renowned for its rich cultural and architectural history.
Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh of the Kachhwaha Rajput dynasty, this beautiful structure is predominantly a high screen wall made of pink and red sandstone that facilitated royal women to get an eyeful of the street festivals and busy city life while remaining out of the view of public.
Jal Mahal
Admire the exotic architectural styles that combine both Mughal and Rajput characteristics at Jal Mahal or Water Palace in Jaipur. Nahargarh Fort
If we talk about the city of Jaipur, ‘Nahargarh Fort’ is another imposing structure of Jaipur. Here the scenic Aravali hills serve as a perfect backdrop for this impressive fort.
Some famous moments of this movie are ‘Masti ki Pathshala’ song from the Bollywood movie, ‘Rang De Basanti’, shot at a baori of this fort, has made this place even more popular amongst tourists. Established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century, the Nahargarh Fort along with forts of Amer and Jaigarh, served as a strong defence to the Jaipur city in the past. One of the major attraction inside the fort is the ‘Madhavendra Bhavan’ that speaks volumes of the Rajput taste for exquisite artwork and craftsmanship. The temple dedicated to Nahar Singh Bhomia is another interesting site to visit inside the fort complex. Stunning vistas of the Jaipur city and a mystic charm of the sunset from the terrace of the Madhavendra Bhavan, makes this fort all the more an interesting place to visit in Jaipur. Kanak Vrindavan
This is also popularly known as the ‘Kanak Ghati’ amongst all the locals, ‘Kanak Vrindavan’ which is a beautiful garden built in a picturesque valley surrounded by the hills of the Aravali range. And it is situated at a distance of 8 km. from Jaipur towards Amber Fort, the garden complex was built on the orders of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, some 275 years back. Here are the stunning beauty of Vrindavan Gardens near Mathura, ‘Vrindavan’ was additinally to the name of this valley too and an idol of Lord Krishna was consecrated in a special complex, now called the ‘Shri Govind Deoji Temple’, inside the gardens.
Sisodia Rani Bagh
It is another beautiful garden and a famous picnic spot in Jaipur. Established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1728 as a gift for his second wife, Sisodia Rani, the garden is a tranquil spot filled with lush green landscapes dotted with trees and flowers. The infrastructure of the garden reflects the Mughal style with water channels and fountains running through the garden and merging at the centre. Here are the walls of the garden are adorned with beautiful mural paintings displaying the eternal love of Radha and Krishna. If you once a retreat for the royal queen, today can be freely visited by tourists and locals alike.
Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is located in Jaipur which is famous for numerous architectural marvels of ancient and modern times. Among lots, the Laxmi Narayan temple or the Birla temple is very famous among those who love architecture and among pilgrims. However, not very old, this temple is famous for its grand architecture and serene beauty. This temple gets its name from the Birla Family who commissioned building several modern temples around the world along with this temple.
This temple is dedicated to the Hindu protector God, Vishnu and his consort, Goddess Laxmi. This temple also holds shrine of various other Hindu Gods and Goddess. The temple walls have unique Hindu symbols and citation from ancient books of the religion including the Holy Book, Gita. The temple is constructed in white marbles and is unique when compared to the ancient temples of yesteryears. You can also find many idols and statues of philosophers like Buddha, Confucius, Socrates, Zarathustra and others.
Jantar Mantar
In Jaipur ‘Jantar Mantar’ is also another most famous tourist attraction of the city. Every year Hundreds of historians, astronomers and curious travellers visit this place to get a picture of the astronomical skills of an Indian king during an era.
Govind Devji Temple
This is situated at the City Palace complex with lush gardens surrounding by the temple, the ‘Govind Devji Temple’ is belived to Lord Krishna and which is one of the most revered temples of Krishna outside Vrindavan. This is one of the most famous attractions in Jaipur, the temple is visited by many tourists, pilgrims and devotees of Lord Krishna every day. Holi and Janmashtmi are the two festivals that see huge rush of devotees in the temple.
